Parallel blade dampers, are formed by numerous blades that turns on its own axis. Thanks to the mechanism that joins them, the blades turns in parallel at the same time.

This type of damper with parallel blades are appropriate when the damper is located in the suction box of a damper. The opening and closure of the blades goes according to the rotors direction of rotation.
