Butterfly dampers are normally associated with flow control in ducts, but there are numerous applications in which are successfully used in the inlet or in the suction hood of industrial fans due to its versatility and great capability to adapt to different sizes, pressure, temperatures, etc.

Different designs of this dampers allows its suitability to sealing required by the customer, making it totally hermetic or enabling air flow even when it is closed. Not only exist the possibility of having the damper opened or closed, but also different in middle positions too.
